Learn about volunteer opportunities in more detail below and sign up for shifts at the above link.

Whether volunteering once or on an ongoing basis, your volunteer time will help us to distribute 3.4 million diapers to local children each year. We have a variety of opportunities to fit your schedule, abilities, and interests. Volunteers must sign a waiver once annually to participate.

  • diaper preparation and order fulfillment

    Sign up for one of our open community shifts to wrap diapers and fulfill orders for our distribution agencies. Serve with other volunteers who are 14 and older for two hours to prepare diapers that will be distributed to local children.

  • host a diaper drive

    You can help HappyBottoms families by hosting a physical, online or hybrid diaper drive. We distribute about 330,000 diapers a month and new families are asking for assistance every day. Your help is needed now more than ever. To learn more about hosting a diaper drive CLICK HERE

     

     

  • unpack diapers at an agency

     

    By representing HappyBottoms at one of our distribution agencies, you will unpack their monthly diaper order and help them to get organized for distributing diapers to families.

     

     

  • adopt a donation drop site

    Enable community members to conveniently donate diapers by picking up donations upon request from one of our Drop Sites and delivering them to our warehouse.  Email volunteer@happybottoms.org to get involved.

     

     

  • administrative projects

    Administrative volunteers serve from home or at the warehouse to enter data, inventory diapers and supplies, organize items, and help with projects as needed.

  • internships and sabbaticals

    We support unpaid internship, service-learning and service sabbaticals for volunteers 14 and older including high school and college students and corporate sabbaticals. We will develop a unique schedule and work plan together and confirm service hours. Experiences may include diaper preparation and order fulfillment, diaper inventory support, data entry, research, diaper distribution to clients and other opportunities that support the work of HappyBottoms.
